Sheraton Orlando Downtown hotel bought by Private Equity firm

Private equity firm Glenmont Capital Management LLC announced that it had acquired Sheraton Orlando Downtown hotel as part of a joint venture with Resolution Services LLC.
According to the hotel website, the Sheraton Orlando – Downtown Hotel will be leaving the Starwood system on January 16, 2010.

The Walt Disney World resort is the area’s largest attraction, with the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, and Downtown Disney.
